Southpoint Casino Las Vegas Police-Involved Shooting at Arizona Casino Video

On Friday, a shot was fired into the MGM Grand Las Vegas gaming floor during a struggle over a handgun. Last week, a man was hospitalized and a suspect was arrested after still another shooting on the Las Vegas Strip.

The shooting took place after a fight among five to 10 men on a sidewalk between the LINQ and Flamingo hotel-casinos, according to news accounts.

One man pulled a handgun out, firing a shot and hitting the victim in the upper torso, police said. For several hours after the shooting, the Flamingo hotel-casino was on lockdown.

During a press conference last week, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak D blamed much of the increase in crime on out-of-town visitors, television station KSNV reported.

The Casino is ripping people off when cashing out tickets at the Kiosks. Was playing some video poker on Saturday evening and when we were done, we cashed out our machines and put our tickets in the redemption kiosk and the machine provided all my paper money, but it did not provide the coin money.

It is literally stealing people's money a quarter at a time, etc. It printed out a ticket, which thankfully I grabbed and walked the block and a half to the Cashiers cage.

I didn't even have to say anything to the employee at the cage. As soon as she saw me place the receipt on the counter, she slid my quarters to me and never said anything at all.

So this is what they are counting on. That every customer that has coin left on the redemption ticket, that doesn't want to be bothered with walking all the way to the cashier, the casino keeps that money.

This is stealing! For me, even though it was only 50 cents, it wasn't the money, it is the principal of the thing.

We put our money in your machines to play, but when you cash out, they steal your change. This is not right so please beware! Room Tip: Watch your money and do not allow them to steal it!
